Family Justice Center of Georgetown and Horry Counties proposes to file an application for a loan/grant with Rural Development Community Facilities, and will hold a public meeting on July 19, 2016 at its office, located at 1530 Highmarket St. Georgetown, SC at 11:00 AM. The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to become acquainted with a proposed Community Facilities project, consisting of a request for funds to assist the organization with its plans to purchase and expand a new facility. This facility will be the location in which services, provided to victims of domestic violence and their children, will be provided. These services include but are not limited to counseling, case management, court advocacy, child care, and financial assistance etc.
Citizens will have the opportunity to comment on such items as economic and environmental impacts, service are and alternatives to the project.
